We have a need to appoint a Data Analyst to our dynamic and tight-knit Collections Department.

We are looking for a confident and experienced analyst who will support the team to deliver key objectives in a challenging environment. This role is central to our activities and provides an opportunity to use a range of relevant skills. We are looking for candidates who enjoy problem solving and can work on their own initiative.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy problem solving and can work on their own initiative. Good experience in a similar working environment would be useful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play an active role in team to develop workflows and data models
  • Update and publish reports across several platforms and confidently liaise with all levels of management
  • Support the Collections team and IT Department with supplying ad hoc reports and regression testing of internal billing systems
  • Monitor and report strategic KPIs
  • Support team members during periods of annual leave

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven track records with DAX and Power BI Data models (or similar)
  • A sound understanding of data models and correlated dashboards with an interest in data visualisation
  • Advantageous to have some exposure with Alteryx platform, and/or a desire to pick up and achieve core certification
  • A high degree of expertise with MS Excel, however strategically we looking to minimise or eliminate all analyses performed on this software
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to interrogate your own work before publishing to Senior Management
  • Experience in gathering company information from primary and secondary resources
  • Highly organised and flexible with a positive attitude, ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Ensuring strict adherence to company guidelines regarding data protection and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, challenging and fast paced environment, working to tight deadlines
  • Competent in liaising with all levels of employees throughout the company
