The role is based in our Blairgowrie offices, with the possibility of home working.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will deal with customer queries through various means of contact including telephone, email, and web chat. You will undertake an in-depth training programme which will equip you with the relevant skills and knowledge required to ensure you are able to deliver an excellent level of service to our business customers.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates for roles within a new team focusing on vacant management and billing. The role includes great training opportunities both internally and externally, including short courses with top business schools. This is a key commercial role for the company, involving proactive research to ensure the company fully understands its customer base

Our head office is based in Blairgowrie in Northern Perthshire, within easy commuting distance of Perth and Dundee and equidistant between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

This is a permanent opportunity with an immediate start date. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. The role will be based in our Blairgowrie offices, but with the possibility of some home working. Employees working remotely will be required to attend training in Blairgowrie from time to time and may be required to work on-site some of the time. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to our business water customers
  • Manage customer expectations effectively and resolve issues at the first point of contact
  • Build rapport, identify customer needs quickly, and efficiently and proactively deliver the best solution for Castle Water and the customer
  • Liaise with third parties on behalf of customers

Key Skills & Experience

  • Passionate about delivering excellent Customer Service
  • Must have experience of working within a Customer Service or Call Centre role, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent phone manner with exceptional communication and clear written skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and multitask
  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
