We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Manager to join our small but perfectly formed Marketing & Digital Team.

This new role will be vital to the business, crossing over from the Marketing & Digital team into both our IT team and key digital suppliers, to help drive the digital transformation.

You will be key to driving the digital transformation and ensuring delivery of an exceptional end to end digital experience for our customers. Working with internal teams and external resources which range from the content, IT, UX, marketing, and digital agencies to deliver projects and digital campaigns. The ability to communicate effectively with front-end and back-end coding languages, also experience with data and development projects is essential. Knowledge of all things digital is needed within this role as the website, self-service portal, analytics, and customer journey sit within this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of the website, including the UX and UI and managing our external design and development agencies
  • Management and product ownership of our Self Service portal, driving enhancements, user adoption and supporting our channel shift activities
  • Working with IT and external agencies to build cross platform applications and mobile design, ensuring the digital experience across all platforms has a smooth user experience
  • Managing our external digital marketing agencies on the technical aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, Paid Search, Programmatic advertising and Paid Social
  • Working with the wider Marketing Team and IT on Data and CRM requirements and projects to support digital campaigns
  • Development of reporting, dashboards and testing using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience within a similar role – preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment and to meet team KPI’s
  • Ability to communicate effectively with front-end and back-end coding languages, also experience with data and development projects is essential.
  • Evidence of effectively managing workload
  • High organised, flexible with a positive attitude, ability to work collaboratively (both internally and externally) and autonomously

Knowledge of all things digital is needed within this role as the website, self-service portal, analytics, and customer journey sit within this role. This will include:

  • Front end languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Good understanding of effective UI and UX
  • In-depth knowledge of web technologies
  • Good understanding and experience of data, data warehouses and reporting
  • Knowledge and experience of SEO, Paid Search and Paid Social
  • Knowledge and experience of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
