The Graduate Commercial Relationship Manager will develop into a Commercial Relationship Manager (CRM). CRMs are responsible for maintaining and expanding our business relationships with strategically large customers within the UK water market.

Our head office is based in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, within easy commuting distance of both Perth and Dundee, and equidistant between Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen.  The Graduate Commercial Relationship Manager will work in the Greater London area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value key customers
  • Responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship including customer retention, strategic account planning, performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for each of the customers in your area of responsibility
  • Develop a close understanding and knowledge of each customer’s business requirements
  • Assist in solution creation and opportunity identification for your customers
  • Personally manage customer queries through to resolution
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Lead analysis of customer goals, objectives, and needs, and map these against Castle Water’s offerings to identify new opportunities

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Good first degree (or equivalent), ideally with a postgraduate qualification, with up to 2 years’ experience – degree discipline is less important than analytical capability
  • Highly skilled relationship builder
  • High level of numeracy
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Presents themselves in a professional manner, being a representative of their organization
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Ability to meet and exceed goals
