We have an exciting opportunity for Onboarding Advisors to join our small, busy and fast-paced commercial team.

The Onboarding Advisor will be responsible for supporting the process to set up new customers so that they are able to fully utilise all Castle Water has to offer.

The Onboarding Advisor must demonstrate experience of handling customer calls and previous experience within a busy transactional environment.

Castle Water is the leading independent water retailer in the UK and having established our business to participate in the English and Scottish water markets, we are now strategically positioned to take full advantage of the deregulating business water market in England.

Our head office is based in Blairgowrie in Northern Perthshire, equidistant between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen and provides excellent opportunities for a range of activities, from golf and fishing to mountain biking and skiing. Our office is within commuting distance of both Perth and Dundee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Onboarding process from processing contracts to setting up accounts
  • Manage inbound transfer process
  • Processing payment information to ensure accurate billing
  • Resolving onboarding issues to ensure customers are onboarded efficiently
  • Updating customer accounts with the correct contractual terms in line with their signed agreements
  • Provide precise and timely advice and resolve internal and external queries via telephone and e-mail
  • Liaising closely with other teams across the business

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a busy transactional environment such as utilities, finance or customer services is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience handling customer calls
  • A self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys teamwork and problem-solving
  • Keen attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative under pressure and meet individual and team deadlines
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft office
