We are seeking a strong Software Product Owner to work with our Gentrack Velocity environment to deliver the best software solutions to our innovative and industry-leading company.

The expected salary range is £35000 to £45000 per annum (DOE), and we offer a hybrid working model where most roles can be undertaken through a combination of home and office working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Take the lead of the application support team
  • Providing vision and direction to the business analyst team and stakeholders throughout the business
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and ROI
  • Define the product release plans and set the expectation for the delivery of new features
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Incident manager for all application support incidents

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner
  • A degree in computer science, engineering or a similar relevant field is desirable.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Experience working with QA teams and processes
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles desirable
  • Experience with ISO27001 would be beneficial
