Customers are helping to raise funds by opting for a Castle Water donation when agreeing to pay their bills by Direct Debit.
Castle Water gives customers signing up to direct debit the option of a £50 donation to Save the Children, or a £50 refund, or a £50 Amazon voucher. We are very grateful to those customers who have helped us to raise funds for Save the Children in this way. By working together, we can help Save the Children support children in emergencies by providing access to safe, clean water.
Castle Water CEO, John Reynolds OBE
Helen D’Oyley, Save the Children’s Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy, said:
We’re so grateful to Castle Water and its customers for their generous support. Last year, Save the Children’s Emergency Fund made a total of 81 allocations to emergencies around the world in over 40 different countries. These funds will help us to respond as soon as an emergency strikes, providing children with safe water supplies. It’s through partnerships like this that we can make the biggest impact for children caught up in natural disasters and conflict.
During December 2017, Castle Water employees also raised over £1,000 for Save the Children’s ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ festive fundraising campaign.
