If a meter cannot be installed by the water Wholesaler, you will be charged on an unmeasured tariff or an assessed tariff, set by the Wholesaler. On an unmeasured tariff your charges are based on the Rateable Value associated with the premises you occupy. On an assessed tariff your charges are based on an annual estimate of your water consumption, set by the Wholesaler using what they know about your business activities and the use of water at the premises.
If a meter cannot be fitted, let us know about any significant changes to your activities, number of employees, and hours of business. We will share this information with the Wholesaler and ask them to review your estimated annual water consumption, or to move you from an unmeasured to an assessed tariff if necessary.
Don’t use this form if your supply is metered or if the Wholesaler has not yet investigated whether a meter can be installed. Please note, if you share your water supply with a neighbour, it may not be possible to fit separate water meters.
To request a review of your unmeasured or assessed charges, complete the form below. We will use the information you provide to make a request to the Wholesaler on your behalf and will contact you if we or the Wholesaler need any more details.
This form asks you to agree to pay an administration charge related to this request which may be incurred in certain circumstances. Click here for more information on potential charges.
