Addressing Meter or Supply Details Discrepancies

If you suspect incorrect or incomplete meter or supply details for your premises, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Note: The Wholesaler is responsible for accurately registering and maintaining meter details, including private meters, for accurate billing. Any issues will likely require Wholesaler investigation.

Checking Details:

Verify meter and supply details in the Customer Portal.

Compare meter serial number, manufacturer name, number of meter digits, and physical meter size with the meter itself.

Confirm meter location and supply address.

Meter serial number and manufacturer name

The meter serial number is usually printed on the casing of the meter itself.

 

Number of meter digits and the Physical Meter Size

This is the number of black digits or digits before the decimal point on the meter. Dependant on make or model, the Meter Size may not always be printed.

Meter location

This is a description of the location of the meter and can include GIS coordinates and details of nearby landmarks.

 

Reporting a Problem

Meter Details Issue: Login to the Customer Portal and request a meter verification by the Wholesaler.

Supply Address or Meter Function Issue: Learn more here and request supply verification by the Wholesaler.
