Lana Bain shares her intern experience working at Castle Water as a Digital and Marketing Assistant.

Describe your internship at Castle Water. What have you learnt?

My Castle Water internship has taught me how a marketing department operates. I’ve gained insight into the day to day activities, as well as collaborating in team meetings. I've been entrusted with real responsibilities and had the chance to make meaningful contributions to the marketing initiatives. From creating engaging social media posts to analysing campaign metrics and assisting in marketing research, I've been involved in a diverse range of tasks.

Have you received any training during your internship?

Yes. The company has been very supportive of my professional development during my internship. I have received formal training sessions on various marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing software. This training not only helped me become more proficient in using these tools but also enabled me to carry out my role.

Describe your overall work experience?

The work environment at Castle Water is collaborative and supportive, with team members always willing to offer guidance and feedback. This positive office environment has not only allowed me to grow professionally but also made the overall work experience enjoyable and fulfilling.

As an intern, I feel like a valued member of the team, and my contributions have been recognized and appreciated.

How has Castle Water helped to progress your skills and career?

Taking on this internship has been a great start to my career. It has helped to develop my creative skills and boost my confidence. I've also gained valuable insights into how to adapt marketing strategies to align with the company's overall objectives, which is crucial in any marketing role.

I am grateful for the support and mentorship I've received throughout my internship, and I look forward to leveraging these experiences to contribute positively to any organization I join in the future.
