Parts of Harlow are currently experiencing low pressure or no water following bursts on the water network.

Business water customers in Harlow and surrounding areas are experiencing low pressure or no water following multiple burst mains in the area. The known affected postcodes are: CM15, CM17, CM5, CM22, EN9, CM4, CB11, CM19, CM18, CM20.

The bursts have been caused by the sudden thaw following a week of sub-zero temperatures, which causes ground movement and pipes to expand and contract leading to more bursts than normal. This means Affinity Water are finding it difficult to get enough water to customers in the area at the moment, you may temporarily experience low pressure or no water.

Affinity Water have sent teams of technicians to investigate, find and fix the bursts and adjust the network to bring in water from other areas to get supplies back to normal. Affinity Water are working around the clock until they get supplies back to normal.
