This week, Castle Water, the UK’s largest independent water retailer, supported local children’s charity Cash 4 Kids by making a £500 donation to its 5K to Cross the Tay fundraising event.
The virtual event, held for Cash for Kids Day, aims to raise £5,000 over the month of May. 100% of the funds raised will be used to support children and young people living in poverty across Tayside and Fife.
Cash 4 Kids work with grass-roots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go. Collectively, Cash for Kids raised £21.4 million across the UK in 2021, supporting 548,102 children.
David Bain, Director of Digital and Marketing at Castle Water said:

As part of its commitment to being active within local communities, Castle Water supports many schools and charity events. Last year, Castle Water donated therapy bears to a local primary school, to help the young student with the transition back to school following the extended period of lockdown and distanced learning from home.
The education and development of young people is another important cause for the company. Castle Water’s Apprenticeship and Internship programs offer young people the opportunity to earn as they learn while gaining vital real-world working experiences.
