Castle Water launches major recruitment drive to hire 30 Apprentices
United Kingdom – (10 June 2021): Castle Water, the UK’s leading independent water retailer, has started a major recruitment campaign to hire 30 Modern Apprentices for its 2021 Apprenticeship scheme.
Castle Water, headquartered in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, has opened applications to fill 30 Business Administration and Customer Service Apprenticeships.
Modern Apprenticeships are open to people aged 16–24 and last for 1 to 2 years. As one of the fastest-growing utility suppliers, Castle Water are looking for people with the enthusiasm, intelligence and passion to help deliver their goals and to meet customers’ expectations.
Castle Water launched its Apprenticeship Program in August 2018. The dynamic full-time Apprenticeships provide the successful applicants the opportunity to earn as they learn valuable transferrable skills and work towards achieving a nationally recognised SVQ. Castle Water take a collaborative approach to working, so Apprentices will likely have opportunity to rotate around departments to improve their business knowledge and skillset to widen their experience.

Impressively, 95% of Castle Water’s Apprentices remain in the business post-qualification. The latest cohort of Apprentices started in September 2020, 4 of whom have already completed their qualification and have been offered permanent contracts with Castle Water.
