Castle Water, the UK’s largest independent water retailer, is sponsoring the Future Skills Award at the Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Business Champion Awards 2022.
The Chamber Business Champion Awards recognises businesses across the region for excellence in skills development, sustainability, digital innovation, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Headquartered in Blairgowrie in Perthshire, Castle Water is one of the region’s leading employers, providing training, skills development and career opportunities for hundreds of local people. The company’s Apprenticeship and Internship programs provide young people with the opportunity to earn, learn and gain vital real-world working experience, qualifications, and transferrable skills.
Castle Water’s HR Director, Claire Easy, said:

That’s why we’re delighted to sponsor the Chamber Business Champion 2022 Future Skills Award, celebrating the fantastic work of other local businesses that share in Castle Water’s passion for supporting the education and development of young people."
The finalists for the Future Skills Award for 2022 are Street Soccer Scotland, Securitay and Carnoustie Golf Links. Members of the public currently have the opportunity to vote for the finalists they would like to see awarded Chamber Business Champion, on the Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce website. Each finalist will pitch to a panel of judges on 11 & 12 August 2022 with each judge scoring one point to their winning business. The winner of the public vote will also receive one point with the highest scoring business being the overall winner. The winners will be announced at an awards lunch on the 8th of September.
