Water market opens for businesses in Portsmouth
From April 2017, the English non-domestic water market opens to competition.
This means that you can choose your licenced water and waste water retailer.
From 1 April, Castle Water will supply your water services including meter reading, billing and account management.
Castle Water is the leading independent water retailer in the UK. We supply hundreds of thousands of businesses, charities and public bodies throughout England and Scotland. Learn more about us here.
- Same water – there will be no change to your water supply and waste treatment
- This change will not increase your water charges
- Pay simply with monthly direct debit – covered by the Direct Debit guarantee
- Extended customer service hours – Mon to Fri, from 8am to 6pm
- All our customer services are UK based – we don’t use third-party call centres
Paying your bill
Full details of how to pay are listed on our website. If you already pay by Direct Debit, no action is required. You do not need to complete a new Direct Debit and you continue to enjoy the benefits of the Direct Debit Guarantee.
Paying by Direct Debit is easy. Spreading payments evenly over the year reduces costs and can help manage your cashflow. To set up a new Direct Debit agreement, simply download and complete the mandate supplied on our website, and return this to us.
If you pay your invoice by other electronic means, for example by BACS, you will need Castle Water’s new bank details: Sort Code: 09-02-22 Account Number: 10592629
You can also pay your bill online.
Where you have a meter, your meter reading schedule will not change, and your meter reader will carry ID. You can also submit your meter reading online.
