We are doing all we can to support your business, and with government plans to ease COVID-19 restrictions in the near future, it is likely your business will go through a number of changes. These changes will impact how you use water and we want to remind you of how you can help to ensure your bills are up-to-date during this time.
The quickest and easiest way to ensure your water bills reflect your current consumption, is to provide us with an up-to-date meter reading below.
Changes to how your business operates
If your business premises are closed, or your staff are working from home, your consumption may have dropped considerably over the past year.
As we ease out of lockdown, you may be welcoming staff back into the office, or customers into your shop, so it’s important to recognise that may increase your water usage. To avoid a big bill down the line, submitting regular reads will ensure your bill is up-to-date and your payments are adjusted and manageable.
Ongoing monthly meter reads
To ensure your bills continue to reflect your actual water usage, please continue to provide us with regular monthly water meter readings throughout the rest of lockdown and the gradual easing of restrictions.
Before you attempt to read your meter
You should only attempt to read your meter if you are confident that the location is safely accessible, adheres to COVID-19 rules and restrictions and that taking a reading is not considered to be a health and safety issue. Read our top tips for reading your meter here.
