Castle Water supports Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day

For the second year running, Castle Water will help to ‘make the world better with a sweater’ on Friday 14 December 2018 when employees don their festive knits to support Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. The company will also donate £100 when any customer applies online to pay their bills by Direct Debit.

Castle Water employees will donate £2 to sport a Christmas jumper for the day and will also raise funds with activities including a bake sale and raffle. Last year Castle Water raised just over £1,000 for the charity and hope to do even better this year. Importantly, however, all this festive cheer has a very serious purpose.

All money raised through Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day could help give a child living in a refugee camp clothes to keep them warm through winter, buy nutritious food for families, or set up a safe space to give children the chance to be children again. It’s a great, fun way to solve some very serious issues!

John Reynolds OBE, Castle Water’s CEO, explains:

Castle Water is pleased to partner with Save the Children which works in more than 120 countries to save children’s lives, fight for their rights and help them fulfil their potential. On Friday 14 December, our employees will be wearing their Christmas jumpers and, as a company, Castle Water will donate £100 when a customer applies online to pay their bills by Direct Debit. It’s really easy to do online at castlewater.co.uk/donate100.
