South East Water have announced that the Temporary Usage Ban (TUB) has been lifted on 30 November.

In August of this year, South East Water, along with other Wholesalers in England, applied TUBs across their region. The hosepipe bans were introduced during the hot, dry weather period with reduced rainfall and significantly low water levels.

The significant rain throughout November has helped the rivers and reservoirs in Kent and Sussex recover from the scorching summer. Despite water levels being high enough to lift the temporary hosepipe ban, South East Water are asking their customers to continue to be mindful of their water use where possible.
