Kitted out for success

Castle Water, the UK’s largest independent water retailer, has become the new home kit sponsor of Perthshire’s Jeanfield Swift Jesters under 12s football team.

Castle Water’s CEO, John Reynolds, met with the aspiring young players to handover their new kit.

The team’s coach is Amy Pryde, Senior Customer Service Advisor at Castle Water.

Speaking of the sponsorship Amy said, “As a Senior Customer Service Advisor at Castle Water I knew that our CEO, John Reynolds, was keen to support local charities and sports clubs. When a new home kit sponsor was required I approached him and he was very keen to support our team. He came down to our training session and did an official handover of the top before the girls wore it the following Saturday at their game against Auchtermuchty Bellvue Colts.

The club and team rely on the generosity of our sponsors and I would like to thank John on behalf of the Jeanfield Jesters U12s for his support and sponsorship.”

As one of the region’s biggest employers, Castle Water continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting local organisations and initiatives, with a particular interest in supporting young people to reach their full potential.

Castle Water’s successful Apprenticeship programme has this week started it’s first recruitment drive of 2024. Started in 2017, the programme provides fully funded Apprenticeships for those aged 16 to 24, an exciting opportunity for those wanting to earn as they learn in a real-world environment.

The hybrid working and flexible completion timeframe makes for an attraction option for many, and sets the Apprentices up to take control of their own success. 96% of Castle Water Apprentices accept fulltime positions post-qualification. Learn more and apply click here.

Formed in January 2022 the Jeanfield Jesters U12s are one of nine teams that make up the set up at Jeanfield Girls Football Club, with 138 registered players from U8s to U18s. They are also part of the pathway to St Johnstone Women’s Football Club, a team who play in the SWPL 2 league.

The current squad has thirteen players who play their home matches on the Jeanfield Pitches at Riverside Stadium in Perth. Their games are played on a Saturday within the East Region 9v9 programme.
