Please note the Wholesaler will normally only move the meter if it is difficult to access and read in its current location or if accessing the meter is unsafe. You should only request this service in these circumstances and if you can provide evidence to demonstrate this. Any service request that is deemed unnecessary by the Wholesaler may be chargeable.

The wholesaler is unlikely to move the meter if

  • The meter has been made inaccessible due to a third party independent from the Wholesaler. You should first try to solve the access issues by speaking with the third party.
  • There’s water filling the meter pit at its current location. There are several factors that cause water to enter meter pits, including water leaks or the weather.
  • The location is simply inconvenient but neither unsafe nor inaccessible.
