This shows that there is an adjustment on your bill. This means we have adjusted for under- or over-estimation of your usage in a previous bill. This is done based on the latest meter reading to make sure you are charged accurately for the water recorded on the meter.

Waste period

This shows the period when we were estimating your consumption for waste. The adjustment relates to this period.

Water period

Prev / Current

Previous (Prev) is what we previously estimated your consumption to be. Current is what your actual consumption was.

0.0000m3 / 82.5236m3

The first figure is the 'Previous' (estimated) figure. This can be calculated by multiplying the Average Daily Consumption used on your previous estimated invoice(s) by the number of days we are adjusting for. The second figure is the 'Current' (actual) figure. This can be calculated by multiplying the actual Average Daily Consumption (ADC) on page 2 by the number of days we're adjusting for. If you have a Return to Sewer Allowance or a deduction meter, this is taken into account.

Please note that if the adjustment figure is split between various financial years, the monetary value calculation will have to take the relevant tariffs in to consideration.

VAT

If you previously paid VAT on your estimated water and/or wastewater services, this will also be adjusted accordingly.
