Following a careful review by Portsmouth Water Limited of requirements to serve business customers after 2017, Castle Water Limited has been appointed to carry out customer service activities in relation to Portsmouth Water’s business customers with effect from 1 April 2016. Business customers will then transfer to Castle Water from 1 April 2017 when new market arrangements are put in place by DEFRA.

Castle Water will carry out all aspects of customer service, including invoicing, handling billing and service queries, and collecting payments.

Based in Perthshire, Castle Water is among the fastest growing independent suppliers to business water customers in Scotland, where similar market arrangements are already in place, and has affinity partnerships with national groups including NFU Scotland and the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations. Castle Water operates all its customer services in-house and does not use external call centres.
