Castle Water, the UK’s largest independent business water retailer, supported Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 8 December. The water company's employees donated to wear their Christmas jumpers and fundraising was topped up with a 'Best Christmas Jumper' and 'Best Christmas Tree' competition.
Castle Water employees donated £2 to put on their festive sweaters.
This was organised through a ‘text to donate’ code where £2 is sent direct to Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day fund. The text to donate code allowed the entire company to participate, regardless of whether employees were in the office or working from home.
Contributions can still be made by texting 'CASTLE2' to 70050* to donate £2. All contributions are sent straight to Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day fund.
All money raised from Christmas Jumper Day go towards helping children in the UK and around the world to build a better future. Donations help to pay for a child to attend primary school, fund a healthcare worker who could save a child’s life, or pay for inspirational teachers to provide a child with an education that will mean brighter future. Christmas Jumper Day is a great and fun way to solve some very serious issues!
